Autism Speaks:
The organization of Autism Speaks is a charity that dedicates solutions throughout the lifespan of individuals with autism and their families who are going through this phase also. This charity helps families and also individuals seek a better understanding of autism with the best support provided. The organization spends 72% of their income in program expenses, 5% in administrative expenses and, 23% in fundraising expenses. I would recommend this organization because most of its income goes to programs that help and support families and individuals to have a better understanding about treatment and how to live a productive life with autism. Autism Society of America:
The Autism Society of America is a reliable charity that focuses on improving lives of all those affected by/with Autism Spectrum Disorder. ASA plans to improve those lives through advocacy, education, support, services, and research. The repeating goal is to help patients with autism to live life to the fullest, be treated with respect, and have their talents appreciated and valued. ASA spends 82% of its income in programs, 15% in fundraising, and only 3% for its administrative (Autism Society, 2015).
I would recommend supporting this organization because on 'BBB Wise Giving Alliance,' it's given a 20/20 for meeting all requirements of reliability. It seems very trustworthy and not even a tenth of the money taken in is given to the people in charge. This lets you know that your money and contribution is fully given to the organization. Organization for Autism Research
The Organization for Autism Research provides resources to families with autism to better understand taking care of those with autism, and donates to promote research on autism. It raises over $1.5 million dollars a year, and uses 82.5% of that revenue on program expenses, 13.3% on fundraising, and 4.1% on administrative costs. The charity's financial rating of 94.28% implies that the organization spends a good portion of its revenue on programs, but is able to sustain itself financially. Because of the organization's credibility, financial stability, and use of funds, I would recommend supporting this charity. (Matthew Galang)
